YOUR LIFE IN BALANCE™
Your brain is marvelous. It does everything for you. It dreams. It thinks. It imagines. It also directs every single movement and function your body needs.
Your brain is balanced perfectly above a nervous system designed to send signals to all parts of your body. It allows impulses of neural messaging to get to all parts of your body at once, without your awareness or assistance.
It’s wonderful when everything is working well. But what if there’s something constricting this system?
Imagine that this bundle of nerves is constrained and distorted by the spine that was designed to protect it. Imagine that the spine became misaligned, due to a fall, knock, bump or accident, and now was affecting the normal function of your nervous system.
When nerves get pinched and constrained by a spine that is out of alignment, the nervous system expression is altered. Communication to your body becomes unclear and distorted. That’s when your body talks to you and you don’t feel right. You may eventually feel pain, or numbness, or worse. That’s when this nerve thoroughfare needs attention.
Spinal distortion affects the nervous system and interferes with its normal function and your full health potential. When the body is not stable in the preferred vertical and horizontal planes of motion, the body will attempt to compensate for the stress caused by the imbalance. The resulting effect of imbalance can be pain, discomfort, and dysfunction.
NUCCA chiropractic care offers non-invasive realignment to your spine so that your body can function at its full health potential. That’s when your body has the opportunity to heal and build strength.
THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IS CENTRAL
A body in balance. THE SPINE, THE NERVOUS SYSTEM & PATIENT HEALTH
In the nervous system of the human body, a portion of this system has a dominant role in coordinating information and directing responses. This Central Nervous System is comprised of the brain and spinal cord. Impulses are carried to and from the brain and spinal cord by nerve fibers that make up the Peripheral Nervous System. The nerve fibers are sensitive to pressure and stress. When the spine becomes misaligned sufficiently it creates pressure on the nerves, compromises their normal impulses, and changes function throughout the body. NERVES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FOUR PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Control and regulation of all vital functions, including circulation, breathing and digestion;
- Activation of muscles allowing us to move;
- Our senses, perceptions and feeling;
- Relating us to the world outside ourselves including learning, experiencing and behavior.
According to current scientific data, your health and well being depends on a normally functioning nervous system regardless of age or health history. Spinal distortion interferes with the normal functioning of the nervous system. To experience your full health potential, it is necessary for the Nervous System to function without interference.
